Horsetail, also known as “shavegrass”, grows abundantly all over the world, except in Australia and New Zealand. Out of all known herbs, horsetail contains the highest amount of silicon. Since ancient times, horsetail has been used to heal wounds, treat urinary infections, and strengthen bones.
